Turkish and Taicang photographers exchange ideas

A delegation of photographers from Mersin, Turkey was recently invited to a photography exhibition in Taicang, Jiangsu province, according to wenming.cn.

Around 100 works, focusing on both countries' folk customs, by Mersin and Taicang photographers were on show. For local people, it was a good opportunity to learn about Turkey.

Both sides have made extensive contacts through mutual visits in recent years. "Photography links us to Taicang," said the leader of the delegation.

Taicang was a port on the ancient Maritime Silk Road and Turkey, a transcontinental Eurasian country, also played a key role on the ancient Silk Road.
