Sculptures of people reading books have appeared in a residential community in Shaxi town, Taicang.

Set in the middle of a green lawn and bright, colorful flowers, the white sculptures have even been used for bedding plants. The installation has stirred curiosity among residents, many of whom have visited the part just to see it.

The sculptures are part of the continuous efforts of authorities in the Jiangsu city to bring art and culture into residents' everyday lives. They plan to install more sculptures in residential communities in the future.
