9th Horticultural Exposition of Jiangsu province to open

The 9th Horticultural Exposition of Jiangsu province will open in Suzhou on April 18, and the ticket price, special memorial stamps and volunteer costumes were released on Jan 9.

The ticket is issued in a prepaid postcard that can be delivered without further charge within China.

Special tickets, that can be used on any day including national holidays, will cost 100 yuan, while ordinary tickets, which are valid on non-holidays only, are slightly cheaper at 80 yuan. Concession tickets, offer entry at half price to seniors aged between 60 and 69 years and students, including full-time undergraduate students. Children under 1.4 meters in height and seniors over 70 years, as well as disabled people with official proof, can enjoy free entry.

Tickets can be purchased online, in person, or via telephone. The Suzhou Wuzhong district Tourism official online shop on T-mall and Suzhou Taihu Lake Horticultural Exposition of Jiangsu province’s official account on WeChat are the two places to purchase tickets online. Tickets are also available at post offices in Suzhou and Tourist Information Centers.

Five tourist agencies have been appointed to organize package Horticultural Expo tours for groups. They are Suzhou Cultural International Travel Agency, Suzhou Chunqiu International Travel Agency, Suzhou Yuanchuang Travel Agency, Suzhou Taihe Travel Agency, and Suzhou Wuyuan Siyun Travel Agency.

Volunteers will be dressed in yellow (men) and green (women) tracksuit emblazoned with rainbow colors.

Featuring an osmanthus symbol with four theme colors of the expo, the memorial stamp will be 2.4x2.4 cm, with a face value of 0.8 yuan.
