Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Resort, a tourism resort in the city of Suzhou, Jiangsu province, which recently joined China's list of national tourism sites, the first in the city, has announced that it will be getting a theme Park with a 50-kilometer cycling path and a lavender garden designed by the Huayi Brothers.

The Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Resort will be an entertainment park covering about 360,000 square meters, with five themed areas, a roller coaster and bungee jumping facility, and a 4D cinema and artists village with workshops for film and TV dramas.

Although it is scheduled for a 2017 opening, the 10-hectare lavender garden, which will be the biggest in Suzhou, will be ready for visitors late next year. Over the next three years, it will get eight boutique inns and top hotels with more than 2,000 guest rooms. There is already an 18-km cycling path along the lake with 10 huts for bike rentals and repairs, which accommodate the WeChat payment tool.
