Suzhou Center, a new landmark west of Jinji Lake, was topped out yesterday after more than three years of construction. It is scheduled for inauguration in the second half of 2017.

The whole complex of seven towers and a shopping mall will be the biggest commercial complex in Suzhou with a total built-up space of 1.13 million square meters. It will have offices, apartments, hotels and a shopping mall.

There will also be an Olympic-standard skating rink, an IMAX cinema, a children’s playground, and an art gallery.
