A photography contest launched by Kunshan Tourism Resort is now open to entries from August 10 to Sept 5.

With the theme of "Water Town in My Memory" (我的水乡记忆), the contest accepts photos that catch a breath-taking view, record a memorable journey or capture a sentimental moment.

Candidates can submit five photos at most and a note of explanation or description is required to be submitted with each photo.

Participants can submit the photos through Kunshan Tourism Resort's WeChat or Weibo accounts.

One first prize winner and 20 second prize winners will selected based on the combined votes from the two portals.

The first prize winner will receive 3,000 yuan ($483) and a tourism pass valid for one year. Second prize winners will receive 1,000 yuan and a tourism pass valid for one year.

How to participate

For WeChat users: Send pictures and captions to Kunshan Tourism Resort's WeChat account – "kslydjq" and leave your contact information.

For Weibo users: Post pictures on a personal Weibo account and add the hashtag "#我的水乡记忆#", then @ the Kunshan Tourism Resort and three friends on Weibo.
