More than 2,000 retailers, suppliers and service providers from across the world are participating in the 10th China Retailers Convention held in Kunshan, East China's Jiangsu province, from July 8 to 18.

The convention, titled "transition and innovation-leading the new consumption pattern", will hold 10 forums, including on retail human resources, finance and real estate. Industry experts and entrepreneurs have been invited to share their opinions at the forums.

Business college researchers and government leaders will also take part in the convention.

Supported by the China Enterprise Confederation and Kunshan People's Government, the event will release the 2014 Chinese top 100 retailers, the 2014-2015 Chinese leaders in the retail industry and the 2014-2015 Blue Book on retail industry human resources.

A roundtable meeting for women entrepreneurs and a nationwide business college skill competition will also be held during the convention.
