A correspondent station was launched by Suzhou Broadcast System (SBS) in county level city of Taicang on June 10. The correspondent station is the first to be set up in Taicang, which falls under the jurisdiction of Suzhou.

Wang Jianfeng, Party Secretary of Taicang city, pledged full government support to the station. He also expressed his wishes for the correspondents to integrate with Taicang, promote the city's economic and social achievements, and highlight moving stories and moral models of the city to spread positive energy.

SBS is one of the most influential media groups in Suzhou and covers the mediums of TV, radio and newspaper. Its programs have been well received among local residents.
