Seven companies from Suzhou recently participated in the 7th China International Tourism Commodities Fair in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province. The companies represented a quarter of all the exhibitors from Jiangsu Province.

The Suzhou-based companies exhibited such things as silk products, brick carvings, holiday destinations and travel services.

Local enterprises play an active participatory role in travel fairs and exhibitions across the country. Suzhou plans to hold an annual tourist product competition to stimulate the development of the local tourism industry.
