Internet culture festival focuses on civilization and service

The 2014 Taicang Internet culture festival opened in Taicang, Jiangsu province, on May 11. The festival was themed on network civilization and service.

The event will run until October and consists of three parts and 15 activities. The first part of the festival aims to promote a healthy and positive cyber culture through activities such as an online novel contest and a micro video competition.

The second part of the festival involves developing a mobile client for urban management, a screening of a city image film and online education, aiming at caring about people's livelihood and showcasing the city's environment.

The third part will invite online users to tour Taicang to experience the charm of the city.

The Internet culture festival is a key part of Taicang's efforts to boost the development of its Internet culture industry and create a harmonious cyber culture.
