A six-member delegation from China Daily paid a visit to the city of Taicang in Jiangsu province on April 28 and 29.

The visit focused on Taicang's tourist attractions, celebrities, specialty products, cultural background and tourism services, with the aim of promoting Taicang's multifaceted culture.

The English website of Taicang is sponsored by China Daily. During the past three years, more than 900 articles have been posted and the number of online visitors has reached 2.1 million. Based on statistics from China Daily, Taicang's culture is the biggest attraction for foreigners.
