A 31-member delegation from Michigan State University (MSU), the US, paid a visit to the city of Taicang in Jiangsu province on March 10, to see and learn from Taicang's economic and social development with its particular focus on growing into a port city.

The visitors are all members of MSU's 'Leaders in Administration Program' (LAP), which aims to help the family business successors know more about the global economic development trends and be qualified for their future positions as leaders.

The delegation visited the VAST China Co (a US-funded enterprise), Taicang Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, Loudong Street and Taicang Port. The MSU delegation stated that there were many cooperation opportunities between Taicang and Michigan enterprises.
