The second agricultural trade fair opened on Aug 9 at Wanda Square in Taicang, Jiangsu province. The three-day event displayed hundreds of agricultural products from 44 exhibitors, allowing visitors to both taste and purchase.

Last year's agricultural fair helped locals know more about Taicang's products, which were not for sale but for tasting. This year, visitors were allowed to purchase the products on display, including fruit, honey, glossy ganoderma and mutton.

To popularize local agricultural products, Taicang's administration for industry and commerce promoted this year's fair via media advertisements in neighboring cities including Kunshan and Shanghai's Jiading and Baoshan districts, ultimately luring many visitors.
