Israeli counselor visits Taicang
A delegation, led by Eitan Neubauer, the counselor of the Israeli embassy in China, paid a visit to Taicang in Jiangsu province on July 29, to learn about the city's advanced agricultural technologies.
During the visit, Neubauer expressed the wish for Israel and China to enhance exchanges and communications to boost joint agricultural development.
Israel, a desert country once challenged by its arid geography, has developed a range of advanced agriculture technologies and facilities, which are already helping to feed many in the world.
Taicang has also built an advanced modern agricultural industry. It has built up agricultural co-operation with Taiwan, Japan and the Philippines. The cooperation with Israel's advanced high-technology sector will help the city further promote the agriculture industry.
