An intangible cultural heritage display was held in Taicang's City Square on June 24. The event showed intangible cultural heritage inheritors and intangible cultural heritages, including dalianxiang (a folk dance with singing), danghuchuan (a dance that imitates rowing a boat), and zhudaquan knives-scissors.

The show also offered some traditional folk performances, bringing back memories of the past.

The event was part of the city's celebration for the country's ninth Cultural Heritage Day, which has been held annually on the second Saturday of June since 2006. It aims to promote the public sense of responsibility to preserve cultural heritages.
