Thanks to the promotion of ecology and leisure, Taicang has become a popular self-driving destination among visitors from neighboring cities.

On May 28, the tourism bureau in Taicang organized local travel agencies to experience Taicang's new tourist attractions, including Liuhe old town, Jiangtan Wetland Park, Donglin village and Phoenix Holiday Village.

The one-day experience provided the travel agencies a new perspective on the tourist attractions. An insider suggested that the travel agencies plan some one-day and two-day tourism products that combine the old and new scenic spots in order to promote the ecological leisure tours and attract more tourists.
