The scenic spot has been focusing on improving its support facilities to meet the increasing demand for leisure trips. A parking lot with 1,200 spaces will be completed this month.

Taicang's tourism industry has maintained stable development. The tourism-related departments are putting considerable efforts into boosting tourism development and meeting people's demand for tourism. At this year's tourism and culture festival held in April, the government distributed thousands of consumption vouchers to the public, allowing citizens to get discounts on food.

During the festival, the tourism bureau also invited visitors via micro blog and WeChat to enjoy for free some of the city's newest tourism routes and share their experience with more citizens. The offer encourages the public to participate in tourism promotion.
