The art exhibition Beyond the Shape and Structure: Ceramics as a Medium will open on May 24 at Suzhou Jinji Lake Art Museum with participating artists from China and Norway.

Co-hosted by Suzhou Jinji Lake Art Museum, Norwegian Art Association and KODE Art Museums of Bergen, the show will display 34 artworks by 15 artists from both countries. It is the first time that Suzhou is holding an exhibit to introduce artworks by Norwegian contemporary artists.

Distinguished artists such as Sui Jianguo, Yin Shuangxi, Yang Jianping, and Liu Yingjiu, curators from China and Norway, and other artists are invited to the symposiums Beyond the Shape and Structure: Ceramics as a Medium and The Conversion and Application of Traditional Cultural Resources (10 am to noon, May 25).
