Recently a characteristic tourist souvenir – a Suzhou classical garden themed silver painted screen – has been unveiled in Zhuozhenyuan Garden visitor center. This silver painted screen, elaborately designed by Suzhou’s silver art cultural development company, is the first set of quality tourist souvenirs made of precious metal in China and comes in a limited edition of 1,000 sets.

The five-leaf silver painted screen, whose pattern and design derive from the gate of Ouyuan Garden Library, is inlaid with five 30-gram silver bullions on each side of which is a HD colored picture of ten famous Suzhou classical gardens, with words in both Chinese and English and the “world heritage” symbol. The picture is colorful and exquisite with a good 3D effect, fully embodying the beautiful scenery of these gardens and highlighting a rich classical culture.
