After more than two years of preparation, selection and compilation, the Chinese Novelists’ Dictionary and Chinese Novelists’ Representative Works Collection were published by Beijing Yanshan Publishing House recently. Writers from Taicang, including Ling Dingnian, Zhu Fengming, He Jilin, Fan Dawei and Wang Maolin, were included in the Chinese Novelists’ Dictionary. Zhu Fengming’s novelette Fame, He Jilin’s short story Bone Fracture, Fan Dawei’s short fiction Three Realms and Wang Maolin’s short story It’s Raining were selected for the Chinese Novelists’ Representative Works Collection. They also received the Chinese Contemporary Novel Award by the Chinese Fiction Institution.
