Hattori Chiharu, a famous expert in the research of Sun Tzu’s Art of War, came to Suzhou in 1998 and donated 1 million yen ($9,779) to plant sakura trees on Qionglong Mountain. Thanks to him, it has 2.67 hectares of sakura trees now.
