Finding a 24-hour drugstore in Jiangsu used to be difficult, but Jiangsu’s first 24-hour automatic vending machine went into trial operation recently in Suzhou Industrial Park. It is equipped with more than 140 common medicines and can provide on-the-spot remote video consultations between a customer and a pharmacist.

At present, the automatic medicine vending machine only supports cash payments. With the improvement of the machine, it will be able to accept credit cards, citizen cards and stored value cards in the future.
