At the beginning of this year, Taicang University Science and Technology Park welcomed many new companies. Five companies have registered in the University Science and Technology Park since the beginning of this year. Nine companies are going through registration procedures, and nine projects are under negotiation. The park will have around 170 companies in total.

All newly-registered companies belong to the cultural and creative industry and the information technology industry.

Why is the park so attractive to enterprises? According to a relevant person in charge, the establishment of leading projects in the park, such as the Institute of Computing Technology Chinese Academy of Sciences, plays a guiding role and attracts the attention of related companies. The talent and technical service provided by the park’s public service platform addresses specific entrepreneurial concerns.

Apart from new companies, existing corporations in the park, such as Suzhou Digilent, have set off a chain effect. Suzhou Digilent is an electronic technology company.
