Taicang branch of China Zheshang Bank opens

China Zheshang Bank opened its branch in Taicang on the morning of February 21, becoming the 21st banking institution stationed in Taicang. At the opening ceremony, the branch donated 100,000 yuan ($16,358) to the Taicang education bureau to aid poor students in their studies. Wang Jianfeng, secretary of the CPC Taicang municipal committee, and Zhu Dafeng, standing committee member of the CPC Taicang municipal committee and vice-mayor of Taicang, attended the ceremony.

China Zheshang Bank is a national commercial bank established upon approval of the China Banking Regulatory Commission in 2004. The bank now has over 100 branches in 12 provinces and cities. Taicang was chosen for its unique location advantage and development potential. The city’s profound cultural background, prominent industry characteristics and good economic environment correspond to the development orientation and needs of China Zheshang Bank. As the first branch in Suzhou, Taicang branch will actively participate in the city’s social and economic development; provide innovative financial products and services by seizing opportunities and developing its own advantages; and build a unique, well-run bank while sticking to its "One Body, Two Wings" development strategy. “One Body” refers to corporate businesses, while “Two Wings” refer to small commercial bank businesses and investment banking businesses.

Since its establishment, China Zheshang Bank has been active in social public welfare. Carrying forward its strong traditions, the Taicang branch donated the ceremony funds totaling 100,000 yuan to students.
