China Zheshang Bank opened its branch in Taicang on the morning of February 21, becoming the 21st banking institution stationed in Taicang. At the opening ceremony, the branch donated 100,000 yuan ($16,358) to the Taicang education bureau to aid poor students in their studies. Wang Jianfeng, secretary of the CPC Taicang municipal committee, and Zhu Dafeng, standing committee member of the CPC Taicang municipal committee and vice-mayor of Taicang, attended the ceremony.

China Zheshang Bank is a national commercial bank established upon approval of the China Banking Regulatory Commission in 2004. The bank now has over 100 branches in 12 provinces and cities. Taicang was chosen for its unique location advantage and development potential.
