Taicang indoor sports hall opens

Taicang’s indoor sports hall opened recently. Covering an area of 13,000 square meters, it offers residents a place to play badminton, football, real-player Counter-Strike and archery.

“Nowadays, more and more people pay attention to health. Many of them do physical exercise at least once a week, some people even more, but winter is not suitable for outdoor exercise. The indoor sports hall offers a place for people who want to exercise or play for fun,” said Zhang Tingbin, who is in charge of the indoor sports hall.

Taicang’s indoor sports hall has 24 badminton courts, the most in Taicang. According to Zhang, the sports hall is equipped with quality facilities and provides a wonderful environment for badminton.

Taicang’s indoor sports hall houses the city’s first indoor football field. Football lovers now can play football even in the winter without being afraid of the cold weather.
