The awards ceremony of the first China (Zhangjiagang) Micro Film Contest 2013 was held at the studio of Zhangjiagang Television Station on November 1.

Themed “Seeking 10 Symbols of Culture from the Yangtze River,” the film contest aims to enhance people’s understanding of Yangtze River culture through producing and sharing short videos. It also provides a place for young filmmakers to showcase their creativity.

A total of 20 awards were presented: one Best Film award, three Excellent Film awards, 10 Most Popular awards and six special awards. The six special awards were Best Director, Best Performance, Best Creativity, Best Story, Best Visual Effects and Best Audio Effects.
