Suzhou Industrial Park Aerospace Industry Association held a founding ceremony on October 25 and announced the list of its first 32 members, including Corus Aerospace Service Centre Suzhou and GE Aviation Systems (Suzhou). The mission of the association is to promote the overall competitiveness of the industry in SIP.

The association members are engaged in aviation materials, engine and landing gear parts, precision machining, and cutting tools. The activities scheduled and agreed upon at the founding meeting include logo design competition, theme lectures, sports events, and charity programs, which aim to bring the members closer and to facilitate communications. The association will also work in close collaboration with government departments in the collection and release of industrial information, and carry out cooperation with other sectors.
