The Taicang Business Association was set up on September 17. It has recruited 34 enterprises as its first batch of members and has built an exchange platform for enterprises to upgrade the competitiveness of Taicang’s business industry. It has also established a bridge between the government and enterprises.

Taicang’s business industry has made great achievements in recent years. Famous enterprises such as Hualian Commercial, Xincheng Plaza and New World Department Store have been very successful. New shopping malls represented by Nanyang Plaza, Huaxu Plaza and Wangda Plaza are spreading quickly. The establishment of the Taicang Business Association will help Taicang’s business industry develop in a standard and orderly way.

The first batch of 34 member enterprises includes department stores, supermarkets, building materials stores and restaurants.
