Tourists to Suzhou of Jiangsu province were once confused by ticket prices for attractions. Some tourists said they were not sure of the discounts travel agencies received, as they paid money to agencies based on full prices in advance and the agencies bought tickets for them. Some tourists complained that they bought tickets to enter a garden, but were charged again for some attractions in the garden.

A regulation focusing on such issues has been published by the Suzhou price bureau. According to the regulation, the varieties, prices and included attractions of tickets have to be listed clearly. If there are regular tickets, special attraction tickets and ticket packages, they also have to be listed.

Discounts, discount regulations and prices after discounts must also be written on public notices for attractions.
