Recently, a 2013 Taicang statistical yearbook edited by the Taicang municipal statistics bureau was published. It records Taicang’s economic and social development in 2012 using statistical data. It provides accurate and authoritative statistical data for government decisions, enterprise operation and public awareness.

The yearbook is divided into 15 parts, including basic facts, agriculture, industry, architecture, investment, transportation, trade, tourism, economy, life and culture.

In recent years, the Taicang municipal statistics bureau has focused on the compilation of the yearbook by upgrading and improving it yearly in order to create an authoritative data book fully reflecting Taicang’s economic and social development.
