Suzhou introduces first automatic archives checking machine

chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: August 13, 2013

An automatic archives checking machine created by the municipal archive bureau was recently put into use, which improves the efficiency of checking archives. This machine has received a patent authorized by the State Intellectual Property Office and is available in many other areas.

Checking archives is common but essential to archive bureaus, requiring labor, time and energy. The checking machine provides solutions to these problems by using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology, which can read archives without affecting the entity archives. In addition, by connecting to the digital archive system, the machine can also read, locate and manage the entity archives without touching them, which will increase the ability of archive management.
