Taicang Shuangfeng Art Festival was launched in July around the theme “Charming water, beautiful home”. It aims to encourage participation and provide citizens a chance to show themselves.

The festival will offer citizens a new choice for leisure and talent shows. The commission has set up more than 10 activities to satisfy the needs of citizens of all ages. People with different education backgrounds can take part in a sports competition, martial arts activity, weaving and flower arrangement. As long as citizens participate in the festival, they all can have fun.

The purpose of this festival is to enrich cultural life and encourage everybody to take part in the festival. In addition, winners can perform for the town. It’s not only an ordinary festival; it’s a chance to become a star.
