Taicang-based private enterprise collaborate with Israeli universities

Suzhou Jincang Alloy New Materials Co Ltd, based in Taicang, Jiangsu province, has recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, Israel, to build a joint R&D laboratory. It is the first privately-run enterprise in China that collaborates with Israeli universities, according to Tc.chinanews.com.

The joint laboratory, depending on the Israel Institute of Technology’s technology and Suzhou Jincang’s products, is built to jointly reach and develop hard and wear-resistant alloy new materials applied in ocean engineering, high-speed railway construction and aerospace industries.

The Israel Institute of Technology has two Nobel Prize winners. There are 40 research institutes. Among them, the Israel Institute of Technology Science and Technology Park is the most successful R&D institute in Israel.

Suzhou Jincang Alloy New Materials Co is a new materials enterprise that operates integrated copper smelting, spectral analysis, squeeze and casting, stretching processing and eddy testing businesses.
