The Taicang Gallery (formerly the Wu Xiaobang Dancing Art Gallery), in the city of Taicang, which has completed a year of refurbishing, now has some calligraphic works and paintings on display, under the theme "My hometown --Taicang• Deyang".

After the work was completed the gallery is undergoing a trial operation on a new space of 2,238 square meters, or 1,000 sq m more than the former gallery, at a total cost of 8.5 million yuan ($1.38 million).

It now has a temporary exhibition hall for large exhibits and activities, showrooms for collections, and some small lecture halls. There is also a place where calligraphy and painting can be taught.
