A new innovative biomedical project with an expected investment of 3 billion yuan ($24.55 million) in research and development (R&D) in the next five years was signed on April 23 to develop in Binhu district, Wuxi.
A signing ceremony for a medical project was held through a video conference on Feb 15 in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, in order to maintain economic growth amid the novel coronavirus break.
Wuxi's Binhu district held a launch ceremony on Jan 2 for 26 major industrial projects worth 18.72 billion yuan ($2.68 billion)which will be carried in 2020.
A project to produce high-performance real-time microprocessors, launched by CKS, an integrated circuits (IC) company located in Binhu district, will receive 15 million yuan ($2.15 million) in financial support.
