Wuxi's Binhu district became the epicenter of automotive technology advancements on Dec 5 to 6 as it hosted the 2023 World Automotive Chip Innovation Conference and China Automotive Chip Summit.

The event featured six sessions, including a high-level summit, a general forum, and four sub-forums on different topics.

Chips, as the brains of automobiles, play a pivotal role in the new era of industrialization. Against the backdrop of China's automotive transition from electrification to intelligent connected vehicles in recent years, the high-level summit on Dec 5 convened industry experts, executives from both the automotive and chip sectors, and leaders from regulatory bodies. The aim was to enhance collaboration and promote coordinated development.

Representatives from major automotive companies, such as Shanghai Automotive Group and NIO, shared insights and engaged in discussions regarding their respective areas of focus during the summit. High-ranking executives from companies like Contemporary Amperex Technology Co Limited (CATL) shared experiences related to the challenges and lessons learned in their respective fields.
