From May 6 to 13, a delegation from Binhu district, Wuxi, Jiangsu province visited South Korea and Japan, aiming to deepen cooperation with relevant companies and research institutions through a series of meetings and inspections.

During the 8-day visit, the delegation signed contracts for 10 projects with a total value of about $462 million. For example, Genesis MedTech and the Guolian Kaixian Fund will establish a Sino-Japanese Healthcare Industry Innovation Center in Mashan sub-district of Binhu with $100 million in investment. The center will leverage Japan's strengths in high-end manufacturing, technology, and materials to incubate overseas projects in Wuxi.

An agreement on the China-South Korea (Binhu) Industrial Park was also signed in Seoul by the governments of Binhu and the Liyuan development zone and Jiangsu TCK Integrated Circuit Group, a subsidiary of South Korea's TCK Group established in Binhu in May 2022. The industrial park will focus on industries related to the design, testing, and packaging of IC chips.

As an important hub for the biopharmaceutical industry in Wuxi, Binhu is committed to introducing more related high-quality enterprises. During the visit to Seoul, the delegation visited Aston, a biopharmaceutical company specializing in innovative drugs for cancer, immunology, and healthcare of the elderly. The visit was aimed at helping the company learn more about Binhu's favorable business environment and boosting its confidence to invest in Binhu.
