Binhu district in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province recently purchased a number of electrical sanitation vehicles to clean roads and transport garbage.
The trucks can be operated for 10 consecutive hours after four hours of charging. They consume less energy and generate less emissions and noise compared to fuel-powered trucks.
The new energy vehicles are also equipped with systems that can control the amount of water depending on the roads they are cleaning.
Binhu now has more than 30 electrical sanitation vehicles which account for 20 percent of its total fleet.
