Binhu district in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province launched a new version of a guideline aimed at improving its business environment on May 11.

The new guideline has 65 measures related to eight business respects, including market, investment, innovation, government services, supervision and law enforcement.

The guideline states that more than 95 percent of new businesses in Binhu should have their registration completed in less than half a day, and that the district will work with other cities in the Yangtze River Delta region to provide interregional services.

Over the past few years, Binhu has streamlined the process and reduced the time and cost of administrative examination and approval to facilitate the development of local companies. Binhu was ranked first among all districts in Jiangsu in a provincial business environment appraisal in 2021.

Wuxi Longsheng New Energy Technology Co, which is located in Binhu, started the construction of a new facility just 66 days after signing the building agreement. Multiple departments, including the Binhu development and reform commission, bureau of industry and information technology, and bureau of natural resources and planning, had formed a special group to facilitate the speedy commencement of the project.

Ni Ming, president of Wuxi Longsheng New Energy Technology Co, said he is impressed by the Binhu government's efficient and comprehensive services.
