Chaiquanyuan in Qunfeng community in Binhu district, Wuxi was recently honored as a provincial unique village in East China's Jiangsu province for its idyllic scenery and local specialties.
Agricultural products native to the region, such as red bayberries, pears, and tea, are particularly popular. At an orchard spanning more than 500 mu (about 33 hectares), tourists can pick their own fruit, which increases incomes for local farmers.

Homemade food in the village such as glutinous rice balls and rice wine are gaining popularity. More and more non-locals are coming to the area to try the specialties.
At guest houses in Chaiquanyuan which are planned by professional designers, tourists can lead an idyllic lifestyle by admiring the views and tasting local food.

To build more unique villages, Binhu has been making efforts to develop agriculture, tourism, and cultural creative industries, as well as promote the integration of urban and rural areas. Sectors in the district's villages such as catering, accommodation, and fruit-picking are experiencing a boom.
