Binhu district in Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province recently launched its "Innovative Binhu" Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to increase its international social media presence.

Run by the publicity department of the district's committee of the CPC and English-language newspaper China Daily, the three accounts will feature content about the natural attractions, culture, industries and business environment in Binhu.

According to the district, the Facebook page will focus on economic and social development, major events, and other top news. The Twitter account will feature information on innovation and industries, while the Instagram page will showcase Binhu's culture and tourism resources.
