Shanshuicheng, a sub-district in Binhu, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently recognized as a provincial pilot zone for the innovative application of information technology in the environmental industry.

An industrial alliance for the pilot zone was established to enhance cooperation and information sharing between different entities, promote the development of core technology and infrastructure, and to train professional talent.

A number of leading companies in the sub-district are expected to contribute to the building of the pilot zone. Jiangsu Lanchuang Intelligent Technology Co is an environmental monitoring service provider and has developed a platform using technologies such as internet of things, artificial intelligence, and blockchain. The platform can provide accurate data analysis for the further control of pollution sources.

Shanshuicheng sub-district has been working to develop its integrated circuit, software, and information security sectors and boasts advantages in the environmental protection and IT application innovation industries.
