Wuxi's Binhu district hosted the High-level Forum on Information Security as well as the 13th Conference on Vulnerability Analysis and Risk Assessment on Oct 22.

As part of the 2021 World Internet of Things Expo, China's top IoT event, the high-level forum invited over 200 government officials, experts, scholars and industrial insiders on information security to share insights into the latest developments and technologies in network security.

The event had five sub-forums themed "vulnerability analysis", "critical information infrastructure protection", "threat discovery and traceability", "IoT basic security and risk analysis technology", and "analysis of major international cyberspace security incidents". Experts from the China Information Security Evaluation Center, the Institute of Information Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, Beijing Tianrongxin Network Security Technology Co, and NSFOCUS Technology Group Co gave keynote speeches on issues such as software vulnerability ecology, software supply chain security, satellite internet applications and security, and the security life cycle of the smart industry.

Sylvain Guilley, a professor from Télécom ParisTech in France, and Daniel Alex, former top researcher of Russia-based cyberspace security solution provider Kaspersky, shared their latest research results in the field of side channel analysis, artificial intelligence and information security via the internet.

The Taihu Bay Information Technology Application Innovation Industrial Park was launched during the event.
