Guzhu community in Mashan sub-district, Binhu district, Wuxi, was recently listed by the provincial government as one of 36 key villages in Jiangsu province for developing rural tourism.

The community is filled with beautiful natural scenery such as mountains and rivers and a park equipped with guest houses ideal for a tranquil and relaxing vacation.

Visitors can pick local agricultural products such as tea in spring, yangmei in summer, oranges in autumn, and strawberries in winter.

The local yangmei, also known as waxberry or Chinese bayberry, is especially popular for its bright color, rich flavor, and nutritional value.
