Popular tourist attractions in Binhu district, Wuxi, Jiangsu province have prepared a series of activities to greet visitors during the upcoming May Day holiday from May 1 to 5, according to the local culture and tourism bureau.

Visitors to Wuxi Sunac Resort will get a chance to watch music performances by online celebrities at a music festival, as well as firework and light shows.

Sunac Resort will extend its operation hours to 21:00 during the holiday to offer more nighttime entertainment for visitors.

It includes Sunac Land (a theme park), Sunac Mall (which includes a commercial center, Sunac Water Park, Sunac Snow Park, and Sunac Ocean Park), Taihu Show Theatre, as well as a cluster of hotels.

CCTV Wuxi Movie/TV Base will stage more than 20 performances based on Chinese classical works of literature every day during the holiday.

Boasting many large-scale sets featuring ancient Chinese architecture, CCTV Wuxi Movie/TV Base has been a popular setting for historical plays. It has also attracted a growing number of visitors from home and abroad seeking a taste of traditional Chinese culture.

Blooming flowers are a must-see for a spring outing. Haucai Town possesses various kinds of flowers, which are now in full bloom, transforming the garden into a spring paradise. It is considered the garden with the finest azaleas, the city flower of Wuxi, in China.
