Many lakeside scenic areas in Binhu district, Wuxi recently attracted flocks of black-headed gulls looking for a place to spend the winter.
Now is the best time to go bird watching in Binhu, as the black-headed gulls, also called "the elves of the wetland", dive for food or bathe in the scenic areas, offering many rare and spectacular winter views.
The Binhu culture and tourism bureau has provided tips for visitors planning to go bird watching, including maintaining a distance of 10 meters from the birds and avoiding eating.
