Eight main scenic areas in Wuxi's Binhu district received around 232,400 visits during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday from June 7 to 9, according to local reports.

To celebrate the festival, scenic spots launched a variety of activities for visitors to appreciate natural scenery while experiencing traditional Chinese culture.

Turtle Head Isle received 44,600 visits, ranking first among the eight scenic areas. For the convenience of tourists, special shuttle buses were put into operation to offer a closer look at calamus and hydrangea in full blossom.

Wuxi Movie/TV Production Base prepared a DIY activity for adults and children to make fragrant sachets and an introduction course for children to learn about traditional etiquette and experience ancient games.
