The award ceremony of the 2018 Global Food Science Student Competition was held at Worldhotel Grand Juna, Wuxi, East China's Jiangsu province on Nov 16.

As one of the series of activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Jiangnan University, the competition itself was held in the university's Wenhao Hall on Nov 15.

The competition's judges were experts and scholars from global leading universities in the food science and technology field, including the University of California, Davis, the University of Georgia and Fuzhou University.

With the aim of boosting academic and cultural cooperation and exchanges between students around the world, the event created a platform for students of the food discipline to showcase their latest achievements in scientific research and share experiences.
