Xinli Museum features purple clay exhibitions
Located at No 398, Phase 2, Shanshui Hubin GaRoaden, Jincheng West Road, Xinli Museum is open to the public free of charge all year round. It is open from 9 am to 4 pm and is closed on Mondays.
Xinli Museum has participated in the Wuxi Branch of Shanghai Art Festival for five years since it was established in 2014 with approval from Jiangsu Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau.
The museum's permanent exhibition is mainly composed of jade ware, ceramics, bronze, Buddhist items, and Korean and Chinese paintings. Many of the exhibits are from the private collection of curator Ding Feng.
The museum has also opened a WeChat official account which features an audio guiding system, with each exhibition hall having an audio introduction.
This year, the museum introduced the art of purple clay carving, presenting a decorative world of purple clay wares.
