The annual Wuxi (Taihu) Yuantouzhu Cherry Blossom Festival kicked off last Thursday at Turtle Head Isle (Yuantouzhu) scenic area in Wuxi.

Turtle Head Isle is renowned as one of the three best places to admire cherry blossoms in the world, and floods of visitors have been streaming into the park since the blossom started to come into bloom earlier this month.

If you are planning to visit Turtle Head Isle scenic area, there is good news for you: Wuxi has set up three free shuttle buses to the scenic area, which run from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm during the Qingming festival and weekends from Mar 18 to Apr 16.

The three buses with the slogan "Enjoy Location, Enjoy Wuxi" written along the side will stop at the roundabout of Xiangxue Road, which is near No 3 exit of Plum Garden (Mei yuan) Railway Station, Lihu Lake Central Park and Binhu Tourist Service Center on Boda Modern 1930 Square.

There is also a special speedboat service that will whisk visitors from Lihu Lake, an inlet of Taihu Lake, to Turtle Head Isle in 50 seconds.
